Tuesday 12th May - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods.

Walk 1 – Early prom to The Manor.

Decided to join Mag on her early morning walk, leaving home at 6 we headed down to the prom in lovely sunshine with a light offshore breeze. For a change we turned right and walked to the end of the prom at The Manor stopping along the way to take a few weather pics and it was absolutely stunning, we are so lucky to live beside the sea :) We bumped into an old friend we haven’t seen for age and had a nice chat with her before heading for home for fruit bread in bed while sorting out my pics. I had one eye on the wind but in the end I could not be bothered to go in what looked like marginal winds so did my exercises in the sunny back garden instead :)

Walk 2 – Spa Gardens for a picnic.

While I was doing my exercises Mag did a big spring clean, she even packed todays picnic, so when the floor was washed we headed down to our favourite spot in the Spa Gardens to enjoy the peace and quiet while the prom was quite busy and it was very warm too and the offshore breeze had picked up! We then headed up into the town to get Mary some bird food before going to see her for a chat. Windy tomorrow so might have a sail but chilly with rain forecast so might give it a miss, my windsurfing mojo is on the wane!

PS - there was a top 3 piece band busking up the town today too:)
